Fun Day Saturday

Today Emma & I had a girls day while Courtney had a guys day, and had a really fun day! Our day started slow, hanging out at the house, ran errands, then we went to a birthday party, and a cookout! By the end of the day, Emma was TOAST! She had so much fun, she just past out!

The birthday party we went to was for one of her little girlfriends at Libby's house (who takes care of her during the day). All of her little friends were there to celebrate. The birthday party was at Gymborie, boy that place is fun for kids! I really think Emma might have had the best time out of all the kids, she was all over the place, sliding down slides, climbing...

Just Because....

I had to share my 'just because' treat this morning. Court suprised me with some beautiful roses from the farmers market. Emma has also enjoyed them, she loves to smell flowers! It is so cute... Hopefully, hint hint, to Courtney he surprises us with more pretty flowers........

Easter Weekend in Richmond - Friday & Saturday

We made the trip up on Friday afternoon (Court & I thankfully were let out of work a little early to get a head start on the road) up to Richmond. It was really nice to be there, and actually it was my first Easter at home in 5 years. Since Court always worked on Easter, we would either head to his family's side, or my parents would make the trip down. It is also hard to believe that we haven't been to Richmond since early December. Hopefully we can make the trip up one more time before the baby is born.

I am breaking this up into two parts, due to all the pictures...can't help it, Emma was so fun to photograph this weekend. She is just the sweetest girl right now...just loves to play, gives hugs & kisses, dances, and can hang out fairly well and put on a show! ;-) We certainly know what our Easter blessing is this year, our sweet girl, Emma, and our soon-to-be little boy....

Emma had her first experience visiting the Easter bunny (at the Tuckahoe Women's club - the club my mom belongs too), we bought a glider chair for the nursery (thanks for helping out mom & dad!), and ate an Easter dinner. It was so funny when Emma saw the bunny from afar, she was SO EXCITED to she him!!! But when it was time to sit in his lap, forget it...she did not like the bunny much! So we got in the picture for a family shot. ha We also got to visit with Courtney's second cousin, Stephanie, her mom ('Cousin Judy'), and Stephanie's three adorable children which would be Emma's third cousins. It was fun to get them together. (they were also visiting the Easter bunny) Lastly, we went to see Emma's friend down the street, Cabel. Cabel is my parent's favorite little neighbor...she is super cute, and 8 years old...and loved playing with Emma you will see!

Here is a link to the chair we purchased for the nursery. We will eventually move it down to the den. I always wish we would have sucked it up and made the purchase with Emma. Can't wait to rock our sweet boy! Our color is Marine Riveria with white piping: http://www.littlecastleinc.com/gallery/product/40
