Emma's overnight with SuSu & Bop

My parents watched Emma for us while we were at the beach for the night. I do not know who had more fun, Emma, my parents or Court & I. It was a win win for all of us. Here are some cute pictures my Mom took of Emma while they were with her.

Our First Over Night Trip!!! Atlantic Beach

Court & I headed to Atlantic Beach on Saturday morning for our first over night. My Mom & Dad came to stay with Emma, and Emma did fabulous (as expected). Probably did not even notice we were not there!

We had the BEST time!!!! It was really such a good trip, and we came back all relaxed. We first stopped in Beaufort for lunch and milled around. I just love Beaufort. We did get in beach time, walks on the beach, good drinks, lots of great meals, SLEEP, and back rubs. It was very refreshing. Thank you SuSu & Bop!!!!!!! First Boo Boo! :-(

I was trimming Emma's finger nails and she is soooo good, and always stays so still and lets me do my thing. And today, I cut her. OH MY GOSH......I do not know who cried more, well, actually...it was me! I was so upset about it!! Of course, it was the morning that Court & I were leaving town for our first over night. Emma is/was fine, and her Hello Kitty bandaid made it all better. I will never forget that moment.

Wednesday - Another day with Daddy!

Today was a busy day and Daddy was in charge of the camera, hence the one picture! But Nana, BB (Court's grandma) & his Uncle Ed came to town for a visit. So Emma had a fun time being social today, and getting lots of love....

Also, Emma has really started noticing Maggie's every move now! Poor girl wants Maggie to play with her, but Maggie is really not that interested in her (think she is just getting old). Usually we set Emma down by Maggie, and she gets up and walks away...but yet, follows Emma & us all over the house in all the rooms. Go figure... Anyways, today Maggie DID let Emma sit with her (actually on her!).

As you may have noticed there are (lots) of things Emma enjoys, and loves winding down at the end of the day with her baths! She recently is into putting everything in her mouth, and her ducky fits perfect right in her mouth!

Hunters Baby Shower

Today was one of my best friends, Hunter, baby shower. Hunter was my Maid of Honor in our wedding. She and her husband this year moved out to Houston, Texas for his job. So Hunter made the trip back to be showered by her family and friends. She is due to have her baby (which is a surprise) October 13th. We can't wait to meet baby Sutch!

Emma attended the shower as well, as Court was working and we didn't have a sitter. Emma had a great time, and loved being passed around by all my friends. She put on quite the show. One of my other best girlfriends, Anna Bedford, hosted the shower. She had her daughter, Claire, 6 weeks before Emma was born..so Emma & Claire were each others first friends. There are some pictures of the girls in here as well. It was a fun afternoon.
