Sunday morning with Bop

My Dad drove down to stay with us on Saturday night, so he could drive Cuckoo & Gampa down to Long Boat Key. Here are some pictures of Bop's visit before Cuckoo & Gampa headed over to see our house for the first time.

Anna Prather Maddison's 1st Birthday Party

While I was pregnant we met our friends Cason & John Maddison. Cason was in a pregnant girls supper club I was in, and it turned out we were in the same birthing classes at Rex Hospital (where we were to deliver). We got to be friends over time, and would meet weekly for dinner (at Chubby's Taco - DELICIOUS!!!) before our classes. Cason & I both were in labor the same day, and she delivered the day before I did.

One evening while in the hospital, they walked down the hall and Emma & Anna Prather had their first play date when they were 1 & 2 days old!!! Anyways, we have gotten together a few times over the year. Anna Prather had her birthday party first. It was fun aslways to get togethr!

Our new sleeping position - legs UP!

Emma is always so fun to watch as she even on the move in her sleep, one end of her crib to the other. She usually finds hereslf most comfortable nestled in a corner, all snug up against her bumper. The past few nights, she has been sleeping on her back and rests her legs on her bumper (not sure if you can really tell with her sleep sack on). Sleeping all relaxed!! I wonder if I will ever not want to go in and check on my angel sleeping?!

I love my Fridays working at home with Emma. I know they will not last forever, so I try to cherish them as much as I can. Here are a few pictures from today.

Playdate with Lillian C.

Emma has two girlfriends named Lillian, one is Kate Parke's daughter, and the other is my friend Paige's daughter (they live in our neighborhood). We haven't gotten our girls together in a while, since the Fall actually. Lillian is in our blog another time, last time Emma was with her she tried to take the bow out of her hair and she tried the same thing this time. Lillian and Emma are about 6 1/2 months apart.

First time SWINGING!!

Boy, what a fun time we had today!! We headed up to Eastgate Park which is in the neighborhood next to ours. We had been wondering if Emma would like to swing, and she LOVES to swing!!!!!! She had no fear what so ever, and was smiling & laughing the whole time!!! Courtney was even pushing her pretty high, I was trying not to freak out - but was calmed because she really was loving all of it. She is such a fun child. Hope you enjoy.
