We headed up to the pool this morning. It is so nice, because it is right down the street and we can walk. Emma really seemed to like the pool.... The baby pool not so much, it was COLD!! The picture of her and I is so funny, she just started crying when I put her feet in the water! But she liked hanging out with Daddy in the big pool, the water felt much better...... She was exhausted when we got back from the pool, and is still sleeping!! We look forward to many more pool days!
Today is my LAST day on my maternity leave.... It was a HOT day, and I had to share these darling pictures of Emma...... I love how she just sits there for her pictures to be taken.
Today we joined our neighborhood pool for the summer. It is a swim and tennis club. We thought it would be fun for us to bring Emma up to the pool, and to get to know our neighbors better and their children. (our neighborhood is FILLED with kids) Hopefully Emma will love to swim like her parents....... Here is the link to our new pool: http://lakemontpool.wordpress.com/
Out of town guests are free of charge, so come visit us!

Emma has had a fun week. It is SADLY my last week at home on my maternity leave with Emma. I have had MANY tears... going back is going to be so hard! I have been so blessed to have 13 weeks at home with Emma, but am dreading leaving her.
This week we did a lot of playing, reading, and loving on each other....soaking in every moment with her.
Grandpa Gene (Court's dad) came for dinner on Wednesday night.
Emma & I met Anna Freeman, Anna Bedford & Carly Bedford on Wednesday morning for coffee at Starbucks. Emma is catching up in size with her friend, Claire, who is six weeks older!
Our friends, Anna & Jason Bedford, had friends over to celebrate the holiday. It was a fun time, and house hold filled with children running around. Emma will have lots of friends!!
