Time with SuSu & Court's & my weekend at the beach!!

Here are a few pictures my Mom took of Emma during her recent babysitting times. Libby, who watches Emma, her father had last minute surgery so my Mom came to the rescue to babysit last week.

Then Mom also watched Emma while Courtney & I headed to Atlantic Beach for the weekend. Boy, it was SUCH a nice weekend to get away the two of us. I was able to use my hotel bonus points so we got an Oceanfront King room for FREE for the weekend, and had a gift card from Court's outside sales rep....so it was a much needed, relaxing cheap weekend! With Court being so busy at work, all my travels over the last 6 weeks for work/weekends for family things, and Court's summer school class...we have not seen each other very much except in passing. So it was so nice to spend time together!!!

Colby's Visit

Colby came to visit for the night on Monday. He had to fly up to Raleigh to RBC's HQ for training. So luckily, we were able to hang out for a night! Emma had a blast with Colby, must have thought he was pretty cool as she was showing off all her moves and wanted Uncle Colby to hold her all night! Here are a few pictures from the night:

15 months old - Pool Time

Emma turned 15 months today! Checked out good at the doctor, weighing in at 21.4 pounds and 30.25 inches. She is still small, 25% for weight but 50% for height. We are almost walking, can take multiple steps, but still trying to gain all the courage she needs to just take off running! If it is possible, Emma keeps on getting sweeter and sweeter! She loves the pool, so we went swimming when I got home from work that day!

As far as what Emma loves now: the pool, watermelon, apples, cheese, starting to feed herself a little, walking holding your hand, and dogs!!! She gets WAY excited every time we see a dog!

Nashville Visit & Dana's Baby Shower

We headed to Nashville for the day for Dana's baby shower. It was Emma's first shower she was invited too, and she was such a good girl. Put on a show walking around, and even got some ice cream! Not sure if you all would all remember, but Dana & I are 9 days apart...she is due July 27th. Both of us having boys too!! So it was fun both being pregnant...

We made a pit stop by Court's Dad's house before the shower, then finished our 'tour' with a visit with BB (Court's grandmother). :) It was a fun time....

First purse

Emma is ready to go shopping now, with her first purse! She got the purse from Courtney's Uncle Lawerence for her birthday... She loves to put her keys in it, cell phone and lipstick!! ha

I got Emma her first balloon today from Harris Teeter (our grocery store), and boy she LOVED it.... just played with it all afternoon! I have a feeling this will be a good 'treat' after being a good girl in the store.

Katherine Edmister Turns 3!

Our good friends, Ashley & Zach's, little girl, Katherine, turned 3 and invited Emma to her birthday party. It was at a park near our house. Emma loves to play on the playgrounds, especially sliding down the slides! She let everyone hold her! Miss social....
