Nana's visit

Nana, Courtney's Mom/Pam, and my mom have been so great to come and help us on some Fridays with the kids. It is working out nicely, as I know the kids are enjoying their time with their grandmothers and are getting to know them more! Here are some pictures from Nana's visit.

Nana & Stokes

Emma is showing me she is going to be TWO! (two fingers)

Nana just redid some rooms in her house, and we got some hand-me-down pillows. Cracks me up, the pillow is bigger than Emma!

This is a very tempting spot for Emma, she is not supposed to touch and play with the items on this table. Just too tempting to her! ;)

Love this big smile

We love bath time!

Happy Valentines' Day!

Happy Valentines Day! All four of us are at home today celebrating Valentines, as we have the case of Pink eye (well, Emma has it) and all of us have a sinus infection and are not feeling great. That doesn't stop all the love and smiles though for us!

We are celebrating tonight with a slice of the best coconut cake ever!! Hayes Barton Cafe!!!!

Pink eye does not stop smiles

Who doesn't love a Saturday?!

Boy, it is a COLD day today in Raleigh! High of 30 something... I always feel like if it is going to be this cold, we should have snow. Thankfully the 'cold' did not arrive until the afternoon, so this morning we took advantage and headed out to breakfast at Big Ed's. Our favorite place for breakfast, as it was where we had our rehersal dinner.

We spent the rest of the day playing and enjoying a warm fire!! Not a bad day at all...

At Big Ed's... Emma our social girl. Notice she is waving at someone, eating a biscuit and apple sauce all at the same time! A true multi-tasker!

I am enjoying this time, as the two kids play nicely together!

Emma recently discovered our shower downstairs, and now likes to climb in it (I will have to remember this as a hide n'seak place one day!)

Day at home with Mommy

As most of you already know, we have stopped going to Trinity Preschool as of February to . It was a very bittersweet thing. We ended up loving the preschool so much, especially Emma. The children were just not napping, and were train wrecks at the end of the day. We are going to give preschool another try in another year. I know Emma misses it...her 'sckooool'.

We are back at Libby's now 4 days a week. We are very glad to be back with Libby. As you may remember, Libby does not work on Fridays so we are back to having to find help on Fridays. Thankfully between our Mom's and Auntie Cathy, we are able to cover most Fridays and occasionally Court and I are going to alternate taking a Friday to stay home. Of course, we wish we could be at home on Fridays Think the grandmothers & Cathy are enjoying a day also with these two sweet babies...

So, here are a few pictures of our day together, the kids and I.

Love her eyes

His smile I promise is contagious!!

Think some teeth are on the way...

Skinny Courtney!!

Courtney back in November started a weight loss challenge at work, which lasted for 3 months. It was $50 to participate, winner takes home $1900!

He with a LOT of will power made it through the holidays!!! Talk about some strong will. Court ended winning 4th place overall, but is still the winner in my eyes! He lost 50 pounds!!! 17.5% of is total weight. Amazing...

He promises to keep up his working out and eating healthy. We are so proud of him!!

Cuckoo and Bampa

Cuckoo and Bampa as Emma says... We went to go visit Cuckoo & Gampa at their house for one last time this weekend. They are getting ready to move into a condo right down the road, in Fearrington, in a few weeks.

We all had a great time. We took Emma to see the cows, and she played and played with her great-grandparents. I am not sure who was more tired when we left, Emma & Stokes or Cuckoo and Gampa! Ha Our kids were sound asleep within minutes of leaving on the way home.

Whew, exhausted on the way home!

Bop comes for a visit

Bop can not stay away...in a good way. My Dad loves his Emma & Stokes! Since my Mom is down in Long Boat Key for her annual time down there, my Dad decided to take a drive down after work on Saturday. We think Emma's favorite word is MOP aka Bop! She gets so excited, way more excited to see her Bop, than she does for either Courtney or I. I know he is in heaven every time he visits. And also, is a big help with the kids and around the house too! Thanks Dad...

Darling picture of the two matching guys...
