Ohio here we come!!!
Courtney was so sweet and surprised me this year with a trip to go see Meredith (Cincinnati) and my family in Dayton for the weekend for my Anniversary/Mother's Day gift! I was so surprised!!! I have been doing a lot of travel lately for work, and have been gone a good bit, so he went ahead and shared my gift (the itinary) with me early so I wouldn't book a flight during that same time for another work trip. This was going to be Emma's first flight! I should mention, that Courtney had been planning this trip since January...such a great husband he is!
Our Friday started early, with a 6:00 AM flight to Dayton! Emma did beautifully!!! She was entertaining everyone at 5:30 in the morning when we boarded the plane, and here I was nervous about how it was going to all work out getting her up at 4:30 to leave for the airport! She was a champ, and fell right asleep right after take off.

Listening to iPod with Daddy on the plane
We had a great visit in Dayton with Granny, Uncle David/Aunt Carol & Auntie Winnie/Brooks. Emma did not hold back and shared with everyone her fun personality. She was sooooo good that day, and went without a nap and managed to hold herself together before her meltdown until we were done visiting later that afternoon. Granny looked wonderful!! And her new place is so nice, what a nice facility!
We headed over to Cincinatti on Friday afternoon, and also had the best time visiting with Meredith, Peter & our super sweet Godson, Will! Emma & Will were great friends, and played so well together. They both were so good all weekend. Friday night we went to one of their friends houses for a birthday party, and Saturday we went out for a good lunch, and over to the Brazilan Butterfly Show. It was real neat. I am not sure if the kids or the adults had more fun! As always the weekend went by way too fast!

Mother's Day Weekend in Altanta for Robyn's Graduation
Robyn graduated from GA Tech with her MBA on Sunday, Mother's day! So we headed down to Atlanta with my parents for the weekend. The three of us stayed with Colby & Robyn, and had a great time. Thankfully Emma was such a good trooper during our visit and even made it on Saturday night at a fancy restaurant, and tried all the food!
We drove down on Friday morning, and had dinner at a fun seafood rooftop restaurant, then Saturday went out for a fun, fancy breakfast at the Georgian Terrace. (my parents stayed there for the weekend). We swam at top of the hotel on the roof, and then ended the day with a nice dinner out a nice restaurant. Sunday then we drove home, on Mother's day. Not exactly the dream Mother's day, sitting in the back seat pregnant for a 6 hour trip...but it was still fun, getting to be with my sweet Emma was all I could ask for that day, and I know my Mom also really loved being able to spend the day in the car with Emma too! Next year, I told Courtney we will spend it at our house!
We are so proud of Robyn with her accomplishment!

Fun Day Saturday
Today Emma & I had a girls day while Courtney had a guys day, and had a really fun day! Our day started slow, hanging out at the house, ran errands, then we went to a birthday party, and a cookout! By the end of the day, Emma was TOAST! She had so much fun, she just past out!
The birthday party we went to was for one of her little girlfriends at Libby's house (who takes care of her during the day). All of her little friends were there to celebrate. The birthday party was at Gymborie, boy that place is fun for kids! I really think Emma might have had the best time out of all the kids, she was all over the place, sliding down slides, climbing...

Breakfast
