We have so much to be thankful this year!!! Emma brings us so much joy and love, there is no words to even begin to describe how happy she makes our lives. Just seeing one of her many smiles a day, makes my entire day. It is so amazing how this time last year she was all nestled in my stomach, and being so excited to meet her in just a few months. And now... wow, her fun personality has all of us whipped!
We spent Thanksgiving with my parents this year, it has been over 5 years since I had been home for the holiday. With Courtney always having to work holidays before, we would take day trips to his family's house, so it was nice to be able to go home this year. Emma entertained all of us over the few days. My Dad especially was amazed she can say 'Duck'. She was calling everyone and everything duck. And Emma really took a liking to all the Stafforshire dogs around their house, every time she would pass one she would get so excited and just laugh and talk to them. Love her!
We started the day by watching the annual Turkey Trot Race. Every year part of the course runs past my parents house, so they go out and cheer on the runners every year. This year we went down the road to the Hannan's to cheer with them!
Emma did eat with us at the table, and had first few bites of turkey, and some apple sauce and sweet potatoes. She wanted more! We had such a fun day.....

Time in the "Rock Rock" - this was actually my Mom's when she was a baby (Uncle Ray gave the rock rock to my Mom)
