Claire Bedfords' 1st Brithday Party

On Sunday we went to Claire's 1st Birthday Party. Anna, one of my closest friends, & I were pregnant together with our girls and had them 5 weeks apart! So by nature, Claire & Emma were instant friends! :) We had a fun time, and got some good ideas for Emma's upcoming birthday. It was a great party, filled with lots of family and friends.

Saturday - SuSu & Bop visit & Birthday Dinner with Court's family

Today was a big day with lots of action. SuSu and Bop came for a visit, and we worked HARD finishing the finishing touches on painting our kitchen and den, and setting it back up & hanging pictures. It looks SO GOOD!!! And sooo much better! I will post pictures soon, I promise. But here are a few new pictures from today, Emma got a new ball and of cake time for Court's bday. Pam, Dana, Chase, and Patsy (a good family friend of the Bass family) all came up for dinner, and we went out to Firebirds. It was yummy!! And we ended the day with Court & my Dad watching sports in front of the fire, while mom & I were running around non stop hanging pictures, and getting things together! We both tend to never sit down.

So Emma, being a baby who is EVERY WHERE constantly on the move & loves to get into everything, thinks it is fun to pull wine bottles out of the rack. Not sure if this is really good etiquette to post these, but they were funny to us. Will have to bring out these pictures some day to Emma when she is 21 and wants to have a glass of wine! Her fine interest started early :)

Emma is going to be a Big Sister!!

Emma is going to be a big sister in August!! We are happy to share the news with all our family and friends. As of tomorrow, I will be 13 weeks and our due date is August 5th. We found out in mid Decemeber, what a wonderful Christmas gift it was!! We did share with our parents our 'gift' over the holidays, and now we are so happy to share with EVERYONE!!! Emma will hopefully love being a big sisters, we have no doubt she will be as she is so sweet, gentle, and loves her baby dolls now and loves to give them kisses. :) We will keep everyone in the loop! XOXO

New Roof!!

We just made the fun investment of putting on a new roof on our new house! Thankfully we did get a little help from the Brown's (who we purchased our house from). Our friend, Zach Edmister, has a roofing company (Superior Roofing) and he and his team put it on in one day! It looks so good!!! Such a difference.......

Paint Job #1 in new house

My Mom and Courtney were painting masters over the weekend tackling getting the kitchen and den painted. It is almost done, just one more coat of paint in the den to go. Mom was a rockstar and painted for 4 days/evenings straight.... We really appreciate all the hard work!

Playing my PJs

Here are a few cute pictures of Emma from this weekend. She got the riding car and rocking horse for Christmas, and now can start to move around a little bit on her car and now actually wants to touch her horse. At first, she was not sure of the horse!!! It was sooo funny, she would shiver every time she would get near the horse and not want to get on it. After many weeks of attemps, she now will get on it, and even bounces like it is a real pony!
