Things that Emma really likes this month: WALKING, balloons (from our grocery store-loves to carry them around), swimming, her stacking cups, her word book (we have to read the picture book several times a day), puzzles, eating goldfish, watermelon... She is still dramatic, things are SO funny, or when she gets irritated, boy she can throw herself down on the floor and throw a fit! (which is always amusing to watch!!) :-)
Emma daily walks into our pantry/laundry room and points up at the goldfish snacks in the jar, and whispers' goldfish... It is cute, and she definitely lets you know when she wants something! She does not miss a trick!!!! We are starting to say a few more words here and there, such as goldfish, shoes, bye, keys...still doesn't call Mama or anything, so I still respond to Dada (ha). (we all do!)
Thankfully, she still loves her snuggles, and loves to give kisses. Such a SWEET girl!!!! I am not sure if Emma is starting to understand she is about to be a big sister or not, but she brings books into the baby's room and leaves them on his foot stool every night, and has become very attached to MOMMY. Fingers crossed....things go smoothly when the baby arrives!
On a side note, all is going great with the baby. I feel good, just starting to get uncomfortable the last few weeks, and this humidity sure is not fun...so I just move around slower and try to take some breaks here and there.. We go back in on Friday (7/15) for an ultra sound! I am measuring now a little smaller, but still in the normal range. We should know a lot more on Friday! Thanks for everyone checking in and all the well wishes and gifts for our little man!!!
